The Class of 2026 leaves for eleven countries between them. Two are reading Law at NLS Bangalore, one is off to Oxford for PPE, one to Sciences Po, one to Ashoka, one to McGill, and one — the class's most reluctant leaver — is taking a gap year to walk the Ganges from source to sea.

We asked each of them for a single sentence on the thing MIS taught them that the prospectus never claimed. The answers ranged from "how to read poetry aloud without embarrassment" to "how to make chapatis for forty in under an hour."
